Director/Lead Preschool Teacher:  Lola Bush


Lola has been teaching children in various settings for over 35 years.  She has taught children of all ages in Sunday School, Children’s Bible Studies, Children’s choirs and Bible Schools.  In working with an inner-city church she has tutored Vietnamese and Laotian children in Math and English.  She has also worked with special needs children thru The Easter Seals Foundation. She has spent 15 years employed in the public schools as a PALS teacher and Instructional Aide.  Lola and her husband, David, enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and working on their small farm in Copper Hill.




Kindergarten & First Grade: Caroline Stainback 


Caroline graduated from Appalachian State University in 1983 with a communication arts major/biology minor.  She married David Stainback, her high school sweetheart, then earned her teacher’s certification from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Teaching middle and high school science introduced her to students who were impressive in their ability to question, discuss and experiment but would not or could not read their texts.  Caroline went back to school to earn her Master of Education in Reading finishing in 2005.  Since then she has taught pre-school through community college reading, developed a pre-kindergarten enrichment program for her church, teamed with her pastor to design and teach a reading builders club, and earned certification in therapeutic horsemanship instruction.  God continues to teach Caroline and she enjoys passing the excitement and satisfaction of learning to her students. 


Office Manager: Michele Green


Michele Green is a native of Boones Mill. She graduated Franklin County High School in 2009 and is currently working to finish her degree in business from VA Western Community College.. She is married to her high school sweet heart and they live on their Dairy Farm in Boones Mill. They have 5 year old twin girls Addy and Brooke and an almost 3 year old, Charleigh. In her free time she enjoys traveling to the beach and Tennessee, taking photos of family and friends with her photography business, and spending time with her family! She is looking forward to serving the Lord through Boones Mill Baptist Day School and helping us grow! 




Preschool Teacher: Rachel Bannworth 


Rachel Graduated from Liberty University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary

studies with focuses in American Sign Language/ Interpreting and Psychology. She is a Roanoke

Native and has lived in Boones Mill for 2 years. She married Isaac, her high school sweetheart

and together they are working to finish their Master of Business Administration Degrees with

Liberty University. She has worked with children over the years, including special needs children

through a program called Young life Capernaum. In her free time, she enjoys spending time

with her 5 dogs, working her home sewing business, reading a good book, and just spending

time with her family and friends. She is excited and looking forward to serving the Lord while

helping her students to grow and learn!
