Director/ Kindergarten Teacher: Lola Bush
Lola has been teaching children in various settings for over 35 years. She has taught children of all ages in Sunday School, Children’s Bible Studies, Children’s choirs and Bible Schools. In working with an inner-city church she has tutored Vietnamese and Laotian children in Math and English. She has also worked with special needs children thru The Easter Seals Foundation. She has spent 15 years employed in the public schools as a PALS teacher and Instructional Aide. Lola and her husband, David, enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and working on their small farm in Copper Hill.
Preschool Teacher: Rachel Bannworth
Rachel Graduated from Liberty University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary
studies; with focuses in American Sign Language/ Interpreting and Psychology. She is a Roanoke
Native and has lived in Boones Mill for 2 years. She married Isaac, her high school sweetheart
and together they are working to finish their Master of Business Administration Degree with
Liberty University. She has worked with children over the years, including special needs children
through a program called Young life Capernaum. In her free time, she enjoys spending time
with her 5 dogs, working her home sewing business, reading a good book, and just spending
time with her family and friends. She is excited and looking forward to serving the Lord while
helping her students to grow and learn!
First Grade Teacher: Allison Huff
Allison is a native of Franklin County. She graduated Franklin County High School in 2011 and is currently working to finish her Bachelors Degree in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University Online. She has worked with many kids of various ages over the years including special needs children through the YMCA and Champions Sports and Martial Arts after school program. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew; Abby and Peyton, kayaking, and going to the beach as much as possible. She is excited and looking forward to serving the Lord while helping her students grow and learn!
Teacher Assistant: Robin Blevins
Robin graduated from Salem High School in 1984 She has lived in Franklin County since 1993 and has worked with children as a tutor and cafeteria monitor at Boones Mill Elementary School for over 12 years! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, their two dogs, three rabbits, three chickens, and other friends and family!
