Director/ Kindergarten Teacher:  Lola Bush

Lola has been teaching children in various settings for over 35 years.  She has taught children of all ages in Sunday School, Children’s Bible Studies, Children’s choirs and Bible Schools.  In working with an inner-city church she has tutored Vietnamese and Laotian children in Math and English.  She has also worked with special needs children thru The Easter Seals Foundation. She has spent 15 years employed in the public schools as a PALS teacher and Instructional Aide.  Lola and her husband, David, enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and working on their small farm in Copper Hill.

Preschool Teacher: Shawna Legans

Shawna is the wife of a paramedic and fire fighter for Roanoke county who also owns a landscaping business. She is the mother of a beautiful little girl and a member of Bethlehem Church of the Brethren where she has attended most of her life.

Shawna graduated from Franklin County High School and attended college at Virginia Western. She has worked with children most of her life from babysitting to daycare then moved into substituting for Franklin County Public School. She enjoys teaching and watching children learn to grow and love through Christ.

Preschool Teacher:  Robin Blevins 

Robin graduated from Salem High School in 1984 She has lived in Franklin County since 1993 and has worked with children as a tutor and cafeteria monitor at Boones Mill Elementary School for over 12 years! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, their pets, and other friends and family!

Assistant:  Nate Butler

Nate is married with two children.  He graduated in 2013 with B.S. degree in psychology and Christian counseling.  Nate has worked with children of all ages in the mental health field since 1999.  He continues to serve the Lord with a thankful heart, helping to fill any needs the body of Christ may have.

Assistant: Jessica Hall

Jessica is married with 2 children. She has a degree in Communication Design from Virginia Western, and has been blessed with the ability to be a stay at home mom for the last 6 years. She loves spending time with her family, reading, and crafting. Jessica actively attends Crosspointe church with her family and volunteers there in their Kidzpointe ministry. She loves working with children and believes that the Lord has lead her to help kids learn and grow through Christ.
